Our Work

Biomethane from Waste

Biomet Ambiente transforms urban organic waste into biogas through anaerobic digestion, producing both biomethane and high-quality compost. The plant transforms waste materials into clean energy, contributing concretely to the circular economy and the reduction of climate-altering emissions. The biomethane produced is fed into the national natural gas network, helping to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy and reduce emissions from the national energy system.

Agricultural Biomethane

Agrimet collaborates directly with farmers to convert agricultural residues and livestock effluents into renewable energy, offering technical and financial support for the conversion of biogas into biomethane. This activity valorizes otherwise unused organic by-products, reducing the environmental impact of agriculture and returning energy value to the territory.

Liquefied Biomethane

Biomet GNL liquefies biomethane into BioLNG at one of the largest liquefaction plants in Europe, facilitating its storage, transport, and use in the heavy transport sector and for hard-to-abate industry. BioLNG represents a concrete alternative to diesel, capable of drastically reducing CO₂ and local pollutant emissions.
